Temperature test in the laboratory
The true quality of SCHUETZE ASPHALT PRO BOOT? The laboratory has shown us! Before starting the test, the shoe was conditioned to room temperature (20°C/68°F) in a climatic cabinet for 24 hours. Calibrated temperature sensors were attached to the heel and ball area. The test took place at the AUVA test laboratory based in Vienna.
The test conditions
We wanted to test how the temperature inside the boot develops under the following conditions: 1 hour on a surface with 140°C/284°F, at 23°C/73,4°F room temperature and 50% humidity (the temperature of the hot plate had to be set to 150°C/302°F, in order to counteract the temperature loss of 10°C/50°F. The test shoe was filled with 4 kg/8,82 lbs of steel balls, which were also conditioned to 20°C/68°F to simulate the wearer. The test shoe was filled with 4 kg/8,82 lbs of steel balls, which were also conditioned to 20°C/68°F to realistically simulate the wearer.
Take a look at the temperature after 60 minutes. You will be amazed!
